New Presents from Grandma and Grandpa Ballard.
Thankyou!! The girls love their new back packs!
My Christmas experiment worked! I just wrapped all their old toys and they just had a blast unwrapping them all. They were very grateful. The only thing NEW that I got Maleha was the truck that she asked for from Santa and she played with it all night. She was such a good sport. Next Christmas I will try another experiment. I will shop at a Thrift store to see what new treasures I can find for them to open. I am sure they will be happy with whatever presents they receive because they are my little grateful angels.
Christmas Prayer by Maleha
.
We had Maleha say a prayer to start off the unwrapping spree.
She loves saying the prayers any chance she gets. So precious!

What a great idea for the girls presents. I could never do that with Jimmy, though; he's got a photographic memory!
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I've tried getting Leah to fold her arms for the prayer but she's not grasping the concept just yet.
Maleha opened all her re-wrapped presents and new that they were not new toys but she just had so much fun unwrapping them that she was so excited to see what was in the next present. It was funny to see her reaction because she looked like yeah! I have this already let me see whats next. She has good memory but she didn't complain. But I think next year she might. Also, It took awhile for Maleha to do the whole folding arm thing for prayers but kasiah is doing like it's no problem.Different development is fascinating to me.
