Okay, I am finally 30 and am turning blue in the face! I know I have been the biggest blog slacker within the last 2 months But I can not tell you how fast time is flying by for me. It seems the older I get the faster life speeds up and there are no brakes in between to slow it all down. It's scary! Especially because I still feel like I am 20. It is the strangest feeling in the world! I seriously could not fathom the thought when I was 20 calculating ahead with friends saying "When it's 2008, I will be 30!!" It was just mind boggling to even say it let alone think it But now all of a sudden life seems to be going all down hill from here because I see my life 10 years from now as though it's tomorrow. 40 is going to creep up on me and the next thing I know I will be 50 and then a Grandma!!! Don't get me wrong I love the wisdom and beauty that comes along with age but to tell people now that I am 30 seems astronomical! Time is fierce! Life is too Short!! Love life and live it!
My Birthday today was really fun and wonderful even though Dustin surprised me with an over the hill card and 40 bucks in it I also had a good friend of mine (Gavrila Chase) come over and surprise me with over the hill balloons and some lunch. She also took me out to a few German stores to go shopping. We had a blast! Her Birthday is next week and so we both decided to plan ourselves a huge 80's Birthday party for this friday at my house at 7pm. It's going to be totally awesome!!

Yes! You're alive!
And you're 30!
I so wish I could come that 80's party.
:)
Happy Birthday Margaret! Don't listen to Dustin - you are not even close to the top of the hill, let alone over it! Have a great time at the party!
Oh, honey: the secret no one tells you is that life just keeps getting better and better if you want it to. I thought 30 was the end of the world because I hadn't done all those things I thought I should do by that age, like starting my family and finishing college. But guess what? I did those things within the next few years after 30, and it was even better because I had the maturity to appreciate what I had accomplished.
Just love where you're at, live who you are, and life will be beautiful!
I love you, and happy birthday, sis!
