As long as I can remember I have always been captured and taken away by art but I have never been more inspired or connected than through the spiritual arts. So it seems to only make sense to collect my most favorites and give them a home. This oil painting was drawn by Adolphe-William Bouguereau (Mary,Jesus and a Lamb). I have fallen in love with lambs here in Germany because their purpose is beautiful and soft plus they are our new neighbors!! This Portrait brings the lambs meaning and purpose that much more to life and in full circle for me.
I would love to make my home feel more than just a home through the touch of spiritual art . It seems that there is nothing more better to invest and decorate a home with than that which awakens the spirit. I love collecting spiritual ART!

Funny you post about religious art because I have recently been sucked into James Christensen's work and from there exploring other artists that paint religious art.
Also, I have an overwhelmingly renewed appreciation for the art kits the church puts out. You can print off what you need online HERE because they are so great for last minute FHE lessons and the kids really identify with the scriptures because they have that image to focus on while you teach.
My house is filled with church art, not expensive ones but, I love it.
Dallis and Mele came over tonight to watch the kids so Joe and I could get away for a quick dinner and grocery shopping. I had Joe read the blog you left about your amazing mother. Joe and Mele were in tears, Dallis said that should be in the Ensign. Thank you for sharing your feelings about your mother.

Hey Margaret! I am so glad to see that you guys are doing so well over there across the pond. :) I've been reading your blog for a while now. You'll have to check out our website to keep up with our family. Jason and I are getting sealed in the Bountiful Temple on Saturday. We are sooo excited! Love ya! Christine
